His career journey spans roles as a Regional Chef, General Manager, and Vice President of Operations with one of Canada’s most beloved national chains, where he mentored over 50 chefs to achieve Red Seal certification and consistently delivered operational excellence. His foundation for success lies in his ability to recruit, train, and develop exceptional leaders, many of whom have gone on to high-level positions across North America.
James has developed and launched numerous successful concepts and overseen the operations of a 10-restaurant group in Toronto. He has opened over 20 restaurants across Canada and the United States and now calls his wife’s hometown in the Maritimes home, where his national consulting firm helps businesses achieve extraordinary results.
With a deep passion for food, cocktails, and hospitality, James has traveled from Napa to Tuscany, exploring and refining his palate and his vision for creating unforgettable guest experiences.
